Nike's first great boot — and the end of its leather

The Tiempo Premier was Nike's first major football boot, worn at the 1994 World Cup in the USA, a premium leather boot that made the line the home of comfort and touch for thirty years. That era ended in 2026: the Tiempo Maestro replaced the 'Legend' name and dropped natural kangaroo leather entirely for a synthetic 'Techleather', closing the chapter the Premier opened.
